Hi All
Another busy fill on week at work. Some great results this week we adopted 6 dogs on Thursday. Really surprising all the different people that come in looking for puppies to adopt. Had a few Mums in to from the streets with there litters of puppies that have all been adopted to .But there are many more dogs and Mums with there puppies on all the beaches around there are quiet a few beaches around Goa we are on the coast and tourist feed them there but the worse part of the sessions for the dogs is monsoon when no tourist are around to feed them and of course disease comes with the weather. There are quiet a few foreigners here who live here and have set up there own dog rescue places on big properties they rent and bring many dogs in to be de sexed and vaccinated. There are sponsors who help WVS here as it has changed hands and are a out reach of the centre like dog trust. It has also become a training centre for vets and quiet a few overseas trainee and local people. Hard to believe I only have a week left. Seems like a place I could stay at and always will be work here I could do, but feel that will probably be the case at every place I will be going to. Gave a tour with three ladies from overseas  who want to do fund raising for the centre who are doing local work with the women who are teaching birth controls this is  problem also of families living in poverty with many children. Really enjoying the relationships here I have formed. love watching he monkeys coming in and taking fruits from trees. Of course the locals don't as they say they spoil the trees and no food left for them. Loving all the fruit available and the dinners at work one day we had chips with the tradional Indian meal.....Its is getting hotter here as the season changes to there summer and the students are doing exams before there summer holiday.
My thoughts to you all.
