Spent the afternoon with some volunteers and employees at Noida SPCA.All animals are rescued animals of course, they have 300 large animals 400 to 500 dogs at any time some disabled/ mange injured/blind/abandoned etc. And release dogs also if able to. They do adoptions also and have dogs available at the moment..some are purebreds they had a Rotti and Doberman there, breeding of purebreds happens here a lot as people want to purchase them but then sometimes they find they cant manage them or look after properly so bring to spca or just leave there. They have been running since 2001 and like any spca they rely solei on donations for funding and have done so well over the last 16 years, it is a continuous struggle as we also find in NZ spca..Thank goodness for all the wonderful kind hearted people that donate to them. They don't get foreign volunteers and not a lot of local volunteers on a regular basses but what they have done has been so helpful for them especially in the disabled dogs area so they can pull them selves around so much better and they can go fast now to....
We all went and visited a farm where a one local lady has rescued cows/horses/goose/rabbits and goats..Is abit hotter here as monsoon also builds up had some heavy rain thunder and lighting and big swimming pools appear as they do at this time of the year in this part of India.
