Sunday 9th July.
Time is going fast for me at Animal aid unlimited and only one week left here, gosh could spend a lot more time here to help and make a difference for so many more animals. But been amazed how many new volunteers come here some times everyday even if they have a short amount of time  to help, many have been following there work on facebook..and make a goal to come, Some just travel to here for a week or two.Has been wonderful meeting other volunteers from all over the world, and hear all the different act scents they say I sound like a cowboy act scent, always wondered what I sound like.. For me being here I have been able to use my skills and experience in a wider area because of the variety of animals and all there needs. Been doing physio and getting dogs moving abit more this week, spending time with paralysed  dog who are on bed rest with some huge wounds and fractures..And make sure I go to the cows in hospice for a hour everyday they have become so responsive to my visits giving them all a massage and water  to drink, I see it as a opportunity to give them all something back.
The ambulance here goes out many times a day with calls coming in seen some pretty horrific injuries coming in but thank goodness they are here and not left in the streets in that condition, thanks to the locals and all the awareness animal aid has done.
Most workers here at animal aid don't take a day off just keep working through. I took today off  and went to a temple and The City Palace wont really have any time once I finish here and go to my next placement..no rain in last four days YAY makes working a lot easier which has been great. Got a number 2 blade haircut today had a little problem with taking ticks home in it, all dogs have ticks in India and spending lots of time with them closely its easy for them to get on you to. Think I have really  acclimatised now, went past a temp charge which said 30 and thought its only 30 no wonder I'm not sweating.... felt for all my NZ family and friends  in there winter at this stage...
Love and all my thoughts to all...
